New Update crashes to desktop [message #260012]

Recruit

I just updated new Renguard and now nothing works. When I try to play I get one second of intro music then it crashes to desktop. The program doesn't close it just freezes and kicks me back to desktop. Any ideas I forgot I'm running Win XP

Seems to me like a Renegade error and not a renguard error.

Have you installed core patch since the new renguard or installed anything relating to Renegade, other than Renguard? Did you try a simple computer restart? That's often a solution to many problems.

No I haven't installed anything. I played all night Saturday. Got on Monday and Renguard automaticlly updated and now no Renegade. Sad

Try replacing your game2.exe with this one: http://www.renguard.com/_auto_update/game2.exe

and install one of the latest stable scripts versions that you can find here: http://4camp.net/scripts314.exe (uncheck blooming while installing).

Tell us if this solves the problem.
