I can't use renegade anymore :( [message #246882]

I am using the old renegade, not the first decade one and Windows XP Home with all updates.

I start renegade, i get:

[17:58] Welcome to RenGuard, !
[17:58] To launch Renegade, please click 'Renegade'.

[17:58] RenGuard is downloading an important update for your Renegade.. Please hold.

Appearntly I ignore the last bit about the update as it is something about a beta version.

So i continue by clicking renegade and the renegade configuation pops up. So I set it to the settings I have had all the time and press OK.

My screen flickers (Normally does that before loading renegade) and then I get the message below everytime:

If I ask game2.exe to load, i also get the message above.

Before:

RenGuard is downloading an important update for your Renegade.. Please hold.

Appeared, renegade loaded like normal, what has happened?
