You need to play the game in Windows XP mode.

(This is based on XP, but chances are it's similar)

Start >> My Computer >> Hard Disk (whichever one you installed renegade on) >> Westwood >> Renegade >> Right Click on game.exe and left click on "properties"

A window will open, there will be a tab labelled "compatability"
Click on this tab, and check the box marked "Run this program in compatibility mode for..." and Choose Windows XP Service Pack (or SP) 2 from the drop down menu.

Hope that helps.

Try to run it with administrator privileges (rightclick on the icon).

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

You're saying you don't see anything similar to this?

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

I can confirm windows vista has compatibility options on the properties, can't screenshot it at the moment without rebooting into vista (dual booting vista with xp, on xp at the moment)

The top of the line vista is the one to work. The others are like Windows ME with better graphics

C:\westwood\renegade\game.exe (unless you installed Renguard anti-cheat: www.renguard.com - in which case you need to do it to both game.exe and game2.exe)

Then just use Gay(me)spy as normal.
