how can i run renguard on xfire where servers will detect that i am running it?

thats not what im looking for, as all that does is allow you to play renegade with an active renguard, what i want, is the server i play on to know that i am running renguard, as just running rg isnt good enough.

xfire has never interfered with servers detecting I have RG, but I have disabled Xfire ingame for renegade due to the game.exe / game2.exe problem caused by RG.

The problem is Xfire is programmed with the information that renegade = game.exe. However when you install renguard it moves game.exe to game2.exe, but Xfire still tries to talk with game.exe, which is now RenGuard. Either disable Xfire ingame for RG or search for the tool to fix Xfire's location for Renegade (needs to be done after EVERY Xfire update, easier to just disable it tbh, it does not take 6 hours to alt-tab in and out of Renegade, like it does with some other games...)

it's not that, i can load up a game of renegade perfectly fine by running game.exe and having renguard run as i normally would.

although, the server i play on only has one popup when you join, it's annoying to see commands like !nextmap and !bl restricted to those only with a fully functional renguard.
