i have downloaded renguard onto my renegade directory like it said for me to do and when i got to play renegade on game spy it comes up with the message 'please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application' no matter what i do it doesnt want to work if any1 can help it would be most appreciated

I am not sure, it may be to late to help someone who willingly wants to use gayspy.

Suggest moving over to XWIS, it's not perfect but it's the best option.

You can go in to your renegade directory and click the game2.exe icon, that will bypass renguard which should help you determine whether RG really is the cause.
