I've installed CP2 and I've been seeing peaople write about saluting, bowing, and all that stuff but I can't seem to get mine to work. All my controls are default, and I would really like to see some of those actions.

Many of those are part of the custom key configuration. By default, the bowing, etc. is bound to the numpad keys 1 thru 9. There are other shortcut keys that you can use/customize if the server supports their use. Look for a file in your \Renegade\ folder called keycfg.exe, and see what you can find. Bowing is part of the Taunts.

Soo I can only use the taunts if the server supports it? Huh

Yeah, but I believe that the taunts were released as part of SSAOW, so pretty much everyone should have the ability to let their players do the taunt hotkeys, as long as they also support the custom scripts.dll and bhs.dll. Best way to find out is to go on a server, hit one of those keys, and see what happens.

Man.... that is awesome. But when i try to use taunts on hotwire she just flinches. Does is only work on free infantry?

Oh, I forgot... only the male characters and the regular PIC Sydney are capable of doing taunts in the released version. Female taunts are still in a testing phase, as noone bothered until recently with the taunts since vloktboky first made them; there were more important features and bugfixes to be worked on.
