it worked...dunno why, but now it said

[12:39] Bad/Corrupted file game.exe has been found in your renegade directory
[12:39] You have been kicked from the server for cheating.
[12:39] Disconnected from RenGuard network

aren't you supposed to install CP1 to game.exe? i had to do it manually cuz my RenGuard wouldn't do it

Re-install and then do everything in this way:

1.Re-install the game.
2.Install the the 1.037 patch.
3.Install No-CD crack if wanted.
4.Install RenGuard if wanted.
5.Install CP1 if wanted;

Go to ''options'' in the RenGuard menu and enable the option: ''Disable Core Patches''.

Now manually download the CP1:
http://download.renguard.com/standalone_cp1.zip

5.Install an updated version of the scripts.dll if wanted;

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rentool...21.zip?download

Here's the install instructions:
  • 1. Download the file.
  • 2. Open it and only select scripts.dll and bhs.dll.
  • 3. Open up your main Renegade folder (C:\westood\renegade) and look if there is a scripts2.dll, if there isn't then rename scripts.dll to scripts2.dll.
  • 4. place the 2 selected files into your default Renegade folder.
