i can load the game but as soon as the advanced game listing comes up all the games say version mismatch and i cant get into them wtf is going on, is it like a core patch or something?

Download and run patch 1.037 http://www.thekoss2.org/uploads/[Ren]Tool-Patch_1037_english .zip (do this before installing renguard or whatever, just install renegade and then run this)
