i made a mistake in giving up on renegade. ive just discovered some of the cool things they released. im definitely going to try my hand at some mapping again. although this time i will take the advice ack gave me. Anyways, is there any like faq list about the current state of renegade modding? if there is i would surely appreciate a link. if not, maybe someone would be kind enought o bring me up to speed on any changed in the tools, etc.

Nothing has changed, except added heightfield to LevelEdit for quick terrain. search for the thread with the link to Majic13's tutorial on it.
also updated patches have changed a couple things like MPLAN 1 player, Vehicle_Edit from f8 key to try your modded vehicle settings before you make the changes in leveledit.
lots of SPmission buildings and stuff released at westwood.ftp
and oh yeah, KANE LIVES!
