After i edited a string it shows something like "TTDBR" or just shows the old one (in-game).

I use LE to do this... I also searched the forum and there shouldn't be any problems with doing this... But there are...

Some tips to fix this are helpfull... Confused

I did some string modification believe it or not yesterday Smile

Here one of the things I did for the MoTD:

Only pissing around, but it was my first attempt of messing with the strings Razz

All I simply did was, modify them in CLE then copy & paste the strings file into my DATA, Simple! Smile

agh right, I don't think you can add custom strings to maps, maybe include the file in the zip/rar that comes with the map?

People wouldn't like that... But i have seen it in maps before. It should be possable... Confused

*Fixed*

After placing the strings in the data folder it only affected the stuff on my map.

I should have know beter, since i temped my stuff...

I'm getting close to finishing my mod map...
