I was banned suposedly for having the repair hack in pistol server and non00bys server. I never downloaded this hack program. I do have renguard. I love laying renegade and have no life otherwise. Yes, its sad.
1. Do you have a list of the files I should have, or is there a way look and delete these hack files?
2. Have people really hacked renguard to the point that they can put in new cheats? 3. Can updates of rengard be posted to exclude new cheats?

As long as you can run RenGuard, you don't have any cheats installed. It reports anything and lets you not join a server.
RenGuard is blocking all cheats that are available via public websites, but there's an update coming that brings more security.

I only run renguard with my renegade. These server operators would kick me if I didn't. However, I've been banned none the less. As Daffey the duck says ... disssspicable! My clean character has been challenged!

Thanks for the reply. Yup I've spent enough time playing the game. The (grown ) kids may have found a way to kick me. :oops: Anyway I was kicked /banned by my rengard last night while in a game with the message that my data file always2.dat was corrupt. Therefore.... I have (i think) deleted all the renegade files though some are difficult. I've had to power down the computer several times to delete all of them. Just searched for "renegade". (Amazing how many files were left after the uninstall program.) Now I have to weigh whether I want to regain my addiction by reinstalling this great program. You'll know what I decided when/if you see me back as....Sutinjust Thanks again, good insight!

Well, people do make false accusations. It might have been that someone without Renguard was using the repair hack on youar tank. On pistol there were 3 kill hacks and 2 bigheads but no mod to get rid of them all yesterday. wouldnt be suprised if someone thought you were cheating.

if you talk to the server admins you should be able to get this resolved - pitch a fit enough to clear your clean name and i am sure thy will take notice -
RenGaurd is great - a few glitches in it - i am sure they are workin hard on them - everything takes time - conciderin thy built this from scratch - i think thy are doin a good job
