Hi

Yesterday I foolishly downloaded game.zip to run Renegade with no disk. Consequently Renegade no longer ran. So i deleted Renegade and Renguard from my system and re-installed the game. Now I can not play multiplayer games over the internet with GSA or through the games main menu. Renguard will not work due to a bad always.dbs and Westwood are no longer allowing on line playing sign up on their website. Hopefully I am overlooking a simple thing and someone can help me.

I have reinstalled the game several times now and always the same problem.

Please can anyone help me as I really want to play and I do not know enough about software to fix this.

Hello again

Ok I have taken away renguard. Now when i try to play multiplayer I am asked if I wish to download the new patch for renegade from Westwood. I click yes, but a box comes up saying "file not found".

Question

Any ideas would be gratefully received!!

hmmm

thanks for the link but it will not download. Is the Westwood website not working? I tried to download this last night and could not get it to work. GamesSpyArcade also promted this download and that also failed.

It is all working again. The problem was the westwood site is down. So i downloaded the patch from an unofficial source and it works perfectly now!!!!
