i dont want to be just redirected to some irrelevant post or to the "how to" file. If there is a post with a procedure then I would appreciate it but if not can someone post a procedure to get the textures then put them on my terrain?

Do a search on the word tutorial.
Equivaliser has the closest that I know of on his website. I don't have the address handy but you can get it from one of the tutorial posts.

As far as not directing to the "how to's" aren't you asking for a how to?
I mean this in the nicest way, RTFM my friend......
