From what I heard, he should very well know the reason why. But I didn't perform the ban, so I won't interfere.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Whether or not you like Jarhead or not (which is funny considering you don't know the first thing about him) is not a basis to justify flooding my server. Even if he repeatedly joined with "n00bstories is the best", I would have done the same thing. What kind of low-life loser spends a half hour joining a server and getting kicked over and over until I have to get woken up to IP ban him to make it stop?
Sorry, but that behavior is completely intolerable. The private messages he's sent to Jarhead, insulting his military service in a very brutal way, are even worse than the server flooding.
I'm DONE with that pathetic loser.
I'm the bawss.

While I see how that justifies banning him from NS, does that also justify banning him from Renegade forums?
I mean, of course it's your server, but I also think that while he annoyed you, he might be useful to other people in the Renegade community.
I feel that you should have different "hats" so to say, to not mingle RF related bits and NS related bits. I know this is not easy, certainly not because you run them on the same (set of) server(s), but it would show a certain... How do I put it... level of professionalism and fairness I guess.
Renegadeforums isn't the place to fight out community issues imho, whether you're admin or just some random low-life.

Aircraftkiller wrote on Sat, 12 November 2011 20:10 | The fact that she hasn't banned the majority of people on this forum since 2003 is proof that she's been "careful" with bans. Take a look at what she wrote again. Read the part that details the specifics of what got him banned. Then re-read your posts, and you'll see how you're attempting to generalize her actions when they've been very specific.
Yes, I do have a problem with people like you. You do not need to quote posts that are directly above your own. Use the reply button. There is no pressing need to "quote" a post that everyone already read before they got to your post.

Fun thing is that I, personally, would've banned people here a lot more, but then only for things that they did here. Not for things that they did on my servers. That is what I'm trying to point out.
liquidv2 wrote on Sat, 12 November 2011 20:11 | that's fine, but what does that have to do with renforums
i thought you kept your n00bstories and RF business separated
that's where you entirely lost me

This is what I meant. I know Crimson sees this separation different than me, which is fine. However that is the reason for me to call for caution.

Hey, the funny thing here: Nobody but you gives a shit about what you would do if you were running these forums. How about you pay some of the server bills before you start saying "Well, what I would do is..." Keep quote spamming, you useless tool.
Liquid: He could've sent PMs on this forum (and the NS one), since I believe Jarhead has an account here.

I see nothing wrong with quotes in these, or similar, circumstances:
1. Quoting posts that are several posts above your own, to clarify what you're talking about.
2. Quoting posts on separate pages.
3. Quoting individual lines of a post to break down what you're responding to.
Here's a great guy who can say this better than I can.
Quote: | QUOTE (db1989 @ Oct 28 2011, 07:26)
I edit simply to attempt to increase the readability of topics. Allow me to explain my (good?) intentions in more detail than anyone probably wanted:
(1) I remove full quotations of posts that are directly above the one in question, often because the user has clicked edit: quote reply and not removed the automatically inserted quotation (if I were king, I think I would disable that feature and leave it confined to the multi-quote button actually, no; it is useful but no less of a potential nuisance for that!). In this case, quoting the preceding post in its entirety not only is redundant but also wastes screen space and increases the amount of distance that the reader must scroll in order to navigate through the thread. The user would not have to search backwards in the topic, unless you mean scrolling up a couple of centimetres to read the above post. If the preceding post is quite complex and thus would benefit from a quote, I may attempt to truncate the full-quote to what I think and hope is the relevant portion, as quite rightly suggested by hlloyge.
(2) When a user quotes the whole of a post that is further back, I occasionally try to slim it down if it is large, contains inline images, etc. In this case, the reader can still use the snap-back arrow to locate the original post. But I usually just leave the quote in because, as you said, _m²_, it can be beneficial to the reader, in contrast to full-quoting the above post and thereby somewhat assuming a lack of intelligence and/or extreme laziness on their part.
I can easily believe that I get this wrong, and I apologise to any users who think their quotations have been removed inappropriately; please PM me to explain and have the post reverted if so.
However, I see little justification for quoting the post above your own in its entirety, as I am sure the reader can make the connection in most cases. It does not take much time or energy to consider whether an automatically generated quotation is necessary and to remove it if not, but it does considerably improve readibility when you do.

If he is willing to spend several minutes joining the server over and over again, to trigger the auto-kick but relay his message that "Jarhead loves cock", and he's already brought his complaints over here after having to be banned from our forums, then it's logical to assume his next step is to flood here as well. I was just being proactive.
Not to mention him joining several times with usernames insulting Jarhead spaced out over an entire weekend of Sept 24-25.
luv2pb predicted on September 28th that he would take his attacks to the "next level" and it seems that he was absolutely correct.
Then, he thanks this man, who is a retired United States Marine, by calling him a "cowardly marine" and saying that he got his fellow soldiers killed.
You guys are giving him the attention his puny little 5 year old brain craves.
I'm the bawss.
