I remember fubar, those games were amazing. also their gamingpacks where sick!

I'm gonna go with Atomix, since It's been forever since I was in a St0rm server.
N00bstories is fun because of the population but sometimes I just don't like crowded games.

The Pits was one of the only servers with a really nice community behind it - they'd get my vote in a split second.

many of those are servers i've never played in, they're before my time
no one listed non00bs or renstation

st0rm by far has the best turret/parachute server that i've seen

EKT had an apache flying around on hourglass; i suppose that's the best server i've ever played in

RenStation was the best server I ever played in.

That opinion has nothing to do with I was one of the admins there.

Black-cell, hands down the most original, innovative and ahead of it's time renegade server. All other servers are either imitations of it or derived/inherited work from it.

Agreed. I didn't play much on it, but it was fun as hell when I did.

Also, EKT RPG deserves special mention- was a nice RP2 server when Sniperhid ran it. Fun times.

When Exodus just started those were some of the most competitive public games you could ever have played just a shame when people leave renegade and move on, but then you cant really blame them.

LTROUSH CTF when it was at its prime
Black-Cell and Jelly for AOW games. The features in Black-Cell were completely awesome and unique.

Hands down LTROUSH. Black-cell/Xphaze for aow. For sniping, it was Fnfall/gz0ne, then mt0wn whenever it came around.

fnfall sniping servers, always a riot with sometimes 32 players going at it, also these we true sniper servers with few lame mods that run rampant nowadays with only tunnel sniping being allowed.
awar2002, One of the very successful infantry only servers in the early Renegade years
crimson79, one of the original sniper servers with a nice player count of 8
Black Cell, for always being at the cusp of something new
n00bstories, for consistently providing large (10vs10 up to 25vs25) player games

i dunno why you tried narrowing it down in the original poll

best server ever, in which i've had the most fun, would have to be the various clanwar servers over the years. now, the koss2 and n00bstories (if they cut out the start credits) probably have the most appealing settings to me.

The best server I ever played is Exodus. The reason being that it is a spiritual successor to n00bstories Server 2, where the games were small and very competitive; only this time the lag isn't unbearable.

Black-cell was awesome (I was a commander), The Pitts was great - now they are gone I play on n00bstories, it's a good group of people that meet on TeamSpeak and it's well moderated. Renegade Rocks FOREVER!
