Glacier Flying is a great map but bugged to hell. However, there's a couple of other versions of Glacier around that aren't that bugged and could be the starting point for a "unbugged" Glacier Flying.
Of course the auto downloader would allow to spread a new version of Glacier flying individually but as it's an official map (introduced in 1.037), I feel that it should get an official fix. Yrr's levelRedit could surely help out if the level files aren't available.
Please consider this  . There are lots of talented mappers in the Renegade community that could probably make this map playable.

If we're including a new official map (City_2), we should fix the existing ones first. Half the reason Glacier has such a bad reputation is because it's bugged to hell, and that's why you hardly see it.

Agreed. There should be a fixed version of Glacier flying in the patch but that's a task for the community to create or to look for a good version of glacier flying and give it to the TT Team.

Ive never had a low fps on glacier either, even though my computer isn't even decent. But everytime it comes on theres always a few people wholl complain so I dunno. What about glacier would even cause that low fps? and yeah that mines disappearing thing is goddamn annoying.

Considering we do not aven have a mapper on board, it's up to the community to provide us with a fixed version we should include..

Negative. It's totally random and happens on renfds 1.037 without any modifications. I feel it most often when flying. It's not just a drop. It's going from stable 60 to 30 at best.
