Hey guys, I'm trying to get a water cooler for my computer because sometimes it really warm that i have to turn my computer off. Here is the water cooler I'm trying to get but I'm not sure if it will cool off all of my stuff in my computer. I have a video card that needs a really good cooling system so I need help. I dont really know info about water coolers so could someone help me with choosing.

so you know, there is a gel or paste of sorts that you can apply liberally to all the electronic internal components (motherboard, etc.) that will protect it from water, if a leak were to occur.
can't remember what its called, but it exists.

You probly just need to clean all the dust out of your computer...
Try turning it off one day, opening it up, cleaning all the fans and fan vents individually, this means de-mounting the fan and cleaning the blades, the frame, etc, and remounting it. Take the fan off your heatsink and clean that thoroughly. If it's been there for a few years you might even see a nice sheet of pure dust has accumulated there.
Dust left unchecked is probably one of the top killers of PC performance, and is most underestimated.

i think i would strat off by cleaning offf the dust , thanks SlikRik
EDIT AFTER 2 HOURS: cleaned it lol, there was alot of dust,
i took almost all of he fans and the video card , cleaned it and then put every thing back on and it isnow making funny sounds, it is ok?

You might have reattached some of the cards a little too loose, maybe check them again and make sure they're tight in there.

Did it, now I have to wait about 2 days to see how often will it freeze.

Sorry for double post but:
my video card fan doesnt work anymore, i reinstalled the video card from he comp and it is still wont work, yesterday when i was going to bed, i checked if the video card was hot or cold, so when i touched the video card it was so hot , idk but if it was hot , the fan should of worked already
any ideas y it does not work

well, i didnt even touch the fan , i just cleaned the dust from it , anyway i took the video card right now and unhoocked the fan from it and then hooked it back on and now i'm trying to run it

Umm, I'm not sure. I dont know if it is safe to open the case while the computer is still working.
And, I downloaded something like nTune i think, it showed that the video card is 78*C WTF?

Nope, use this= OIL-Cooling
And 78*C are not enough to kill your Card because GPUs can deal with up to 100-120 as a maximum. All modern high-end consumer graphics do reach such GPU temps under full load.
What I really do not understand: You are living in a basement and claim it's getting warm down there?

Sorry for the double post again.
Any way, I checked the video card fan to day. It was running and working fine!
But there is a problem, it does not cool the video card really well. I have 2 power supplies that I don't use so I took the fan from one of them and wanted to put it inside of the case. Do you guys thing it is a good idea?
