China is a very self-centred country and it is using race, nationalism and foreign imperialism to unify the views within the country.This created several views in China. 1. Most treaties signed in the late 1800's do not count as the part of land was offered to other countries compensate for war cost. This includes Taiwan and part of Hong Kong. 2. China is the most powerful country in the world and any insult to it will be crushed without resistance. 3. Other country all want a piece of China or invade other countries to expand their territory. 4. China has nothing to do with terrorism, it does not get involve with sabating other country or have terrorism that belongs to the Han people(the largest race in China).
As you can see that General has insulted China by blowing up Tiananmen square, so some people are not happy about it. If it is a good game where theyget blow up USA it probably won't matter too much. :rolleyes:

I don't think the vast majority of Chinese was pissed, that was just written in an article, that does not reflect the Chinese opinion in any way...
Did you know how the mass media in Germany sparked off a HUGE anti-CS-propaganda after the massacre of Erfurt (a student killed 17 of his class-mates), as though that was the only cause for it...
The media likes to criticise PC-games on every occasion, doesn't mean anything...

I don't get why people are so uptight about something that isn't real!
I couldn't care what it is, whether blowing up London in YR or blowing up famous landmarks like the eiffel tower. It is just a game and has no real effect on real life at all.
Those types of people need to find something worthwhile to complain about.

When RA2's Expansion YR came out I played it at my father's house with his nosy ass girlfriend (i....must....destroy....) was watching me play it, and watched me play a mison where the briefing said I need to mind control the president and destroy the white house.
Shes all yelling at me 'FAIL THAT MISION OR I WILL BURN THIS CD!' Im like yelling back 'Fuck off, its mine!'.
She took it away and tried to hide it...luckly for me shes a dumbass that hides stuff on top of the refrigerator.
Honostly people, Its a game. The people that are bitching about it are usally the same people that say 'Its just a game!' when people argue over sports or whatnot. Its pathetic really.

) NO! The US fought the Russian invasion and the game was saved. If the Chinease don't like how theyre depicted, play as the US or the GLA. I rarely play as the US so I don't think your nationality has any bearing on what side you play.
