Yeah, about 7 hours.

WHOREQWEER may have changed his typing and his grammar, but he says the same thing in other types of words other than "Go suck ur moms dick."

Good strategy. You be the bigger man.

I really didn't mean it in terms of real time, I meant relative. Heck, 7 hours is about what I sleep at night.

Hmm, thinking about sleep; 1:45am.. think I better get some.

Have fun squabbling Smile.

The movie, 'Dune' had a really good soundtrack. Toto definitely hit the nail on the head. Shame they've just broken up, and the movie still blows major ass.

*moved to heated discussions* for obvious reasons

I didn't read every post and don't really care. I made the website for The KOSs2 from scratch. If I ever leave The KOSs2, I wouldn't ask them to take it off. It's theirs now, I made it for them.

OK, it must be pretty sucky to put a lot of time in something and then have no gratitude at all for it. I can understand that. However, once you place your work on their servers, it's a risk you take. I don't suppose you have any written agreement that your work remains yours (or is yours at the first place) and that you can choose for how long they can use it?

The people that use it now, could however take it off out of courtesy and reverse back to an older template.

As to illegal use of forum software: there's plenty of free forum software out there (phpbb, fud, simple machines, ...).

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

old template no longer exists, due to it being deleted by Jonathan when the new template was done. So, doesn't look like they can go back to be honest.

Since BfD is not a legal organization, they cannot make any copyright claims on the work. Instead, the work is the property of the creator. Not only has john attempted a "cease and desist", but he physically removed his template when he had the authority to do so. Putting the copyrighted material back up is copyright infringement.

Personally, if you make a design for a community you're a part of, the respectful thing is to just leave what you gave them and move on. However, that doesn't mean you're obligated to do that.

Regardless if BfD has their old template or not, they need to cease using john's template as he requested. Though, in reality, john seems to be all talk (as are the rest of you nitwits), so continuing to use his copyrighted material won't land you in any trouble, as john doesn't seem like the type of guy to take legal action.

whoa.

BFD isnt claiming copyright lol.

John NEVER removed the template, i reinstalled joomla and reinstalled the template.

Plus John has completly admitted on MSN he was totally in the WRONG!

I could only stand to pay attention to the first page. The lack of proper grammar fried my brain.

Plus, I never said that BfD claimed copyright. I said that that they don't own the template because it's copyrighted to john.

whoa.

Try changing BfD to Jonathan in your post. As BfD are not the ones making the copyright claims. He is.

And so you know, I have attached a log of a conversation we (Jonathan, Me, Whit3 and Wolf) just had.

I think it tells you everything you need to know.

In short, for people that can't be bothered to read it, Jonathan basically says he was just in a bad mood (edit: this was mentioned before i came into the convo. i will try and get whit3 to post that up), and that he pretty much lies constantly.

So you know;
Jonathan = Jon (Original Poster of this topic)
now i have no na = Me
Liam = TTWhit3/FWwhit3
FWWolf | Support = (T|T)Wolf/FWWolf

some irrelevant content of the log was removed. eg wolf doing impressions of a chav towards the beginning of the convo.

You missed my point. I know john is the one who made copyright claims, and I was saying that he was right, and any refusal to take down the design is, technically, illegal.

Yes, I know, john's an idiot and said he was just in a bad mood and now all of this is moot.

whoa.

This is the part that spazmo does not have, since he joined later on in the conversation. There is another person in this convo, iv got no fucking clue who he is but hes weird lol.

This is the log from the beginning of the conversation til when Spazmo joins. Basically, it shows how he was "drunk" "not in mood" when he did all this.
