HL2 is great. Loved the experience of it, lol. But I think I've become slightly bisexual now, with all these video games being tailored to male audiences and whatnot. =\

There is no "Unreal Death Physics Engine". They just both use ragdolls instead of death animations. Guess what? So does HL2. HL2's use of physics far surpasses that of UT2004 and Halo 2.

Half-Life 2, if I ever get the money for the Steam Silver edition(Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, and Day of Defeat: Source(once it comes out) with no additional merchantdise(aside from the product catalog) or whatnot.) Or, alternately, I could just do as I did with Half-Life and wait until they release some super-giganormous package with a buttload of stuff on it. For example, the Half-Life Platinum Collection came with Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic, Day of Defeat, Deathmatch Classic, Opposing Force, and Blue Shift.(Although I don't know if Blue Shift is Steam compatable. It probably is, but by default, it doesn't appear to be listed on the Steam menu dispite the fact I entered its serial number in.) But that's just me. . . Always several steps behind. Hell, it took me 'til last year to get with the Renegade and Half-Life crowds. Sheesh. . .
Oh, and as for why Half-Life 2. . . Greater depth, it's more replayable, it's not over-hyped six-ways from Sunday(*awaits the slings and arrows of Halo freaks* =P), and it's on the PC, which means modifications! And lots of them. That, and I really don't have any deep interest in the Halo series. I got bored with the first game, for example.(PC version.) Not saying it's not a great game with some sort of enhancements over its competitors(at the time), but it's just not very interesting to me.

Half-Life 2 is available on PC; Halo 2 is not (with a 'yet' attached, hopefully).
Therefore, I cannot make a qualified decision about which is the better game, because I have no particular desire to waste my money on the shit that is XBox. Until then, my obvious choice is Half-Life 2.

The only good thing in Halo 2 was the MP, which was pretty fun to play with friends. The SP still sucked, the art was still atrocious, the game still felt slow, the level design was still poor at best, it was all very repetitive, the specular lighting was still way overdone, and it was VERY VERY over hyped.
HL2 on the other hand had one of the best SP campaigns that I've ever played through, gorgeous visuals, great art direction, some very cool weapons, good AI, excellent sound design, and some killer mods. My only complaints with HL2 are that CS:S sucks, HL2DM gets boring, and the load times are bad.
Overall, I had more fun playing HL2.

I haven't played Halo 2, but if it is any like the original it is not really that good. Some of the missions inside buildings had really repetive gameplay. They could have actually learned something from Serious Sam when it comes to the indoor missions.
Not that I want to say Serious Sam was a bad game, the gameplay was just very arcade style wich made it a bit repetive.
Size doesn't matter.
