I'm sorry to say, but your clearly behind the times.
Alienware was bought by Dhell not so long ago and ever since then, they've had "issues".
They've basically lost all credibility.

Anyone who says buy an Alienware is just plain retarded, wait it was a post by MDK, yep, thats right.
Go custom build one if you want it for gaming, or just buy a sony vaio or something shitty like that if its just for general use

It's all part of the big illusion that we perpetuate on ourselves and in turn is perpetuated upon us. When we believe, we engage the illusion. When we stop believing we shatter the illusion and shatter ourselves in the process. Because we are, part of it.

The iBuypower's 5400RPM HD is lame. Even sillier when you realize they put in a 'Bigfoot' NIC which is of dubious value.
The Samsung has two HD's. That means you can take one out of its bay and replace it with an SSD, something that I think is necessary for anyone spending that kind of money for a gaming PC, let alone a laptop. Many are getting below the $1 per 1GB when on sale.

If you're looking at spending $1500+ look nowhere other than Sager/Clevo. Seriously you'll get way more bang for your buck and a far more reliable laptop than anyone else. Lenovo seems to be good for the $600-1000 range, ASUS does have some good options in the lower $1000 area, but Clevo beats all of them hands down.

Xoticpc is one of the better resellers around it seems. I would get the 7970m or 680m if it fits your budget. Both shit all over the 670m/675m in terms of performance. Xoticpc also sells an MSI with high end cards that is well priced.
