I haven't been banned for killing him, yet (though I have killed him), but allow me to quote something completely random and unrelated:

PPS: John Doe had it coming, methinks. There's a difference between criticism and redundant flaming. Something as petty as physical appearance should have no bearing on a person's Internet usage, anyway.

You forgot to mention that everyone on the opposite team said you were cheating, and Kozar personally witnessed you headshot a strafing flamethrower while you were engulfed in flame. Any sniper knows that flamethrowers completely blind them, so getting a headshot off under those circumstances was the last straw.

After you were kicked, several of the players made comments like "thank you", "took long enough"...Kozar told them that he had to be sure and see you cheating for himself before he kicked you.

Sorry what tests was that he did to "proove" cheats? - mrpirate must be the most banned person in renegade and yet NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON HAS EVER PRODUCED ANY EVIDENCE THAT HE CHEATS.

And Crimson, if my brother was using my PC to do things I didn't want him doing then I would tell/force him to stay the fuck off of it - moderating is subjective though and I don't know your view of it or your relationship with your brother.

I was playing a game on Complex with Kozar on GDI a few weeks ago. He was doing using the timed C4 + APC whore tactic, in which you get out of the APC, throw about 50 timed c4s on its front over the span of 30 seconds, then go on an explosive rampage.

It was while he was using this tactic that he said "Anyone who steals tanks on this map WILL BE BANNED."

There were no SBHs that stole his APC throughout the game (how, I don't know), so I can't confirm whether he did or would have kicked and enemy had they stolen his empty APC. But had he done so, then yes, he would be a shitty moderator in my book.

I remember the reason that was given before, about allowing him to abuse moderator powers, was that confronting him over it would damage his relationship with Crimson, because they live together.

The thing is, you guys are family so surely you're not going to stop loving each other just because one person asks the other something perfectly reasonable... that being, to stop abusing the power given to them, because it's making the other person look bad also. If that would really cause lasting damage, there's something wrong with the relationship. You seem to find it really hard to ever say no to someone close, Crimson, at least going on my limited knowledge of you on forums and the like. I think you let people take you for a ride and compromise your principles in the process. Why not just say no? If your brother can't deal with that over something as small as not being allowed to do whatever he wants on your game server, you should probably learn that about him. Just my opinion.

He didn't mean enemies...he meant team stealers. I imagine it's frustrating when you are trying to load up a flaming APC and some teammate jumps into your vehicle and drives away in it.

Since the APC is covered with timed c4, I doubt he would care if an enemy stole it, since it would just blow up and give him points Smile
