If you had actually read the article, you would have seen this
"In 1957, Turkish air force pilots spotted a boat-shaped formation in Agri province. The government did not pursue the sighting, however. The entire area, including Mount Ararat, was off limits to foreigners because of Soviet complaints that explorers were U.S. spies. "

That dosen't mean it's "Noah's Ark". It could have been any ole' ark.

Corroborating with the Bible, that Ark DOES seem to be the fabled Noah's arc. In fact, this isn't new news, and yes, there have been surveys of the land, and yes, they DO have proof that a ship, (relatively measured to 300 cubits, the length issued by God to Noah for the Ark) which was obtained by a sonar shot into the ground. By reflecting off the metal reminents, the chassis of the ship was echoed back to the surface.

They've been launching expeditions up that mountain and searching for a long time. Nothing big different this time.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

If I'm not mistaken, the last I heard was that around 100+ religions (including sects of religions, I suppose) all have stories of a great flood almost exactly that of Noah's.

So, yeah...Chances are, it's a true story no matter what you believe in.

Of course, it's not as if it's the only Biblical story that matches another religion's. While studying Roman Mythology, I was somewhat surprised to see just how many stories lined up with the Old Testament, considering Roman dislike of Jews and Christians...
