Sadly the only way to fix a bug is to either:
1. Have the source code and look through it.
2. The bug be easily reproducable so repeated tests can be done to track it down.

Since the bug you mention is a rare occurance, much like when your vehicle suddenly falls through the map (happened to my mammoth a couple days ago), theres no way we can figure out what is causing it in order to fix it.
