Reason is very much like Fuzzy Logic in a a computer environment.

Go and read about it as I spent the whole of last year learning about Fuzzy logic. This will maybe give some of you more insight into what warranto is talking about.

Fuzzy logic is basically trying to produce results from incomplete data and therefore using reason in essence to try and solve a problem.

This is not 100% what fuzzy logic is about but it might give you some more ideas.
