What a dumb name. Now what will they call the next even larger bomb they will invent? Grandmother of all bombs?

The mother title is a mockery of Saadaam's quote during the first war, when he claimed that it would be "The mother of all battles."

LOL...I think you are reading too much into it. "The mother of all <insert term here>" is a very common phrase which means basically "This is the biggest yet". I don't think the term "Mother of all bombs" has anything to do with Saddam. It's just a bigass bomb Very Happy
