Scopehunt | The Router isn't a firewall. A Router is used when you network the internet so the master computer can share it's internet with another computer. The Router port and IP sets AGS must be set exactly the same to the master computer. (Unless I'm thinking of something, I'm not sure but I have a Router anyway  )

You are correct that:
- A router is not necessarly a firewall.
and
- A firewall isn't necessarly a router.
However common home use calls a "NAT Router" a "Router"
All NAT routers are both a router and a firewall, since the NAT function provides some degree of security and access control (usually only allowing connections from the inside to go out).
Note: A NAT router does not provide the same level of protection as say a commerial firewall such as Checkpoint FW1.
