whats the point of bringing a map into renegade from another game. i see no point.

It's a big point...It's another map for Renegade, and someone willing to learn a bit more of Ren-x to map for this game!
Keep up the good work...you've put alot of time into this, keep it up.
Dont rush it...Although DM's aren't all that popular, it will still be nice to see someone put in the effort to make a nice map and gain some experience in making a map for renegade.
