I have a 1.6ghz AthlonXP (clocked at 1399)
GeForce2 with latest drivers
256meg of ram
Broadband connection
Direct X9.1 (i think)

i run renegade with all details on high, with a 640 x 480 (ish) resolution and i get a horrible frame rate and am usually the last to load up Sad

for example i was on conquest islands and had a stable 30fps while the 'gameplay pending' message was up.

Anyone get any suggestions? Sad

F**king hell, what did you do? Drop a box of nails into your PC?
For a start, you want to tell us what motherboard you have, as that could be the source of your problems, and your OS. In fact, pretty much copy what I posted above, but replace stuff with your own specs. Maybe it's something as simple as your AGP slot isnt set to AGP 4X in your bios.
