I put a fresh copy of Windows 2000 on my computer to dual boot with Windows XP. I mean, this thing is as fresh as you can get. And...same problem. So I disabled the BoardCom NIC on my Asus P4G8X motherboard and installed my old 3COM NIC...same problem. I started to take note of what servers I was on and it's all Renstation hosted servers by Fastc0nn. It seems I can play on every other server but Renstation servers (there's at least five of those bad boys). They do ping low and are usually open, which would explain why I would probably connect to them and thus experience problems. I'll let you know if this pattern states constant.
