Since around 80% of my family are in the forces, and becasue I grew up in a town in the Cairngorms where the RAF (and Marines) go for physical training, I decided to do something different, Mechatronic Engineering. I MIGHT join the forces yet, but if I do, I'm going to go in at officer level with a degree Laughing

So what do I do for my country? Well, not much right now, I'm getting an education. The most I do is serve drinks at a bar to Marnies off duty from Arbroath. (A drunk marine is a very bad thing.) But give me time...

I'm not trying to dis you here, it's just that I'm always dubious when people online go on about being in the forces. They usualy turn out to be kids who've read a few books, wanabees, or cadets. And the comment about getting fat, I said that becasue most of the ex-marines I work with are still as active as they were back in their day. They usualy go for Bouncer jobs and work, train drink, sleep, Work train drink sleep, and agian and again.
