Liquid, I would agree with you until I started playing 2v2 with crush against hitman and wiggles. I actually now believe them when they say they just fuck around in public servers. Not to talk shit about your skill, but how did you actually dominate these cw players? I've played pub games my whole renecareer and I do well myself, but after playing with hitman and wiggles I was COMPLETE shit. My individual skills was nothing compared to theirs. Pistol, tanking, flying, everything. I can't even put my head around the statement "cw players suck at public games". Everytime mudkips, rohirrim, and I are on the same team its pretty much an instant win lol.

HTMN does well, but much of the time he's just doing silly stuff to make himself happy

Jelly has always had clanwars players involved in it; the owner/creator was from clanwars.cc lol
how is that argument valid? JELLY ONLY WON BECAUSE A FRACTION OF ITS TEAM PLAYED IN CLANWARS ALSO
clanwars.cc (100% clanwars players) vs. Jelly (~50% clanwars players)

if clanwars players are the best, why didn't clanwars.cc win every single com match ever? they've always had 100% of clanwars players on their teams
the team with the most of the best players should win - why wasn't that the case?

Someone who learns their skills in clanwars could adapt to public servers quicker than the opposite. You learn how to pistol, fly, tank, mine etc because it all matters. The skills you learn from learning to win all these little battles make a world of difference in a public server. You don't rely on having 3 techs on your arty, learning to to dodge and repair mid-battle is something the majority of pub players still can't do, yet it's second nature to a clanwar player.

most definitely true
i'm just surprised as to why these well-practiced players didn't come out on top all the time when the games weren't 3v3 or smaller

i'm not doubting that clanwars players are good at what they do
i just find it hard to believe that every single one of them (aside from a handful) were able to be considered some of the best in public games
Spoony, who you might think sucks at clanwars compared to some other players, did far, far better in public games than 95% of clanwars players

i think, as far as renehistory is concerned, orca is or will be remembered as being better than you (HTMN)
