I get this issue with a serial from the original 2002 release. The first time I connect to a server everything is fine, but if I connect again I get the CD key auth error, only happens with scripts 3.4.4 servers. I think it's an issue with scripts 3.4.4 server-side as everyone seems unable to join Jelly Marathon, so it doesn't look like a client-side scripts 4.0 issue.
Servers running 4.0 don't appear to have this issue, I checked it on one of Zunnie's servers and on the Atomix server.
Long time and well respected Renegade community member, programmer, modder and tester.
Scripts 4.0 private beta tester since May 2011.
