I honestly don't see where this is going to end...

On one hand, it's you're right to do whatever you want with that CD once you buy it, you could give it to your friend if you wanted. The problem is when someone burns it and gives it to a friend and keeps one for themself...

Our economy and laws are based on objects that are tangible (You won't see anyone buying a car, then duplicating it and giving them away for free), but data can be reproduced almost efforlessly. So, my guess is that within ten years there's going to have to be some new legislature or something...After all, the RIAA can't stamp out every network. But they can't go on suing people, either.
