tbh religious people are smart, employ critical thinking, analysis, and usually are almost always the first ones to listen to new information and compare it to whatever they already know. This way they find themselves in a perpetual path of learning and individual progress. Hence, their views on reality will subtly change over the course of their lives as they develop new ways of thinking to deal with the questions of existence. Since they are so intellectually shrewd, they are very hard to be taken advantage of by cunning conmen, rogue ideologies, and immoral dogmas that unknowingly play on the most glaring weakness of a human: fear.

Due to the absolute mental strength of their various belief systems, religious people are the most fit to mentally face the surely emerging future human conflicts, social cataclysms and global wars; their strong individual fortitude, sense of human vulnerability in the universe, and preparedness charges them to not take any action whatsoever as they have the superior foreknowledge of divine intervention (The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, for example) at the time of imminent doom.

The secret to the intellectual strength of the religious can be traced back to the time of their births. Born into totally neutral family environments that were best suited for intellectual growth and having had no outside ideological influences (from parental or religious authorities) to hinder their intellectual development since, they have made a conscious educated decision, out of their own findings and based on the plethora of solid evidence found in the world, to take up the religious ideology of their choosing as they grew into adults. This development system (that ensures individual intellect in the vital decision making process) ensures steady growth in the religious population across the world and may account for the recent startling dramatic increase in secular movements across the world currently.

The facts are laid bare; to ignore the religious is to ignore our collective peril.
