Shouldn't your 5000 topics for help be made in the tech support forum?

Obvious steps:
Have you tried reconnecting the wires?
Have you tried twisting the connections when they're plugged in? (Just rotate the plug end a little bit in it's slot)

Have you tried playing whatever music you have from a different source? I.e CD / Mp3.
