Newegg.ca had a 'Shellshocker' OCZ Vertex 30GB for 109.99 after MIR, so I snagged one. I don't have many games at the moment, so it should be suitable for running Win XP, and Team Fortress 2, which is all I really need for now. Then I'll throw it into my netbook when something better comes along.

I saw that, not too bad relative to current prices. a 30gb is fine for xp, make sure you check out ocz's forums on how to properly format the drive for XP. Few other tweaks on there as well.

Yeah, if it wasn't an OCZ, I wouldn't have pulled the trigger. Their support's great, and they have a garbage collection tool for those of us who still want to run XP for a while. As long as it fits XP, Ren, and Steam/TF2, I'm a happy dude.

XP = 4GB
TF2 = 10GBish
Ren = 2GB w/ maps and such, so you have lots to spare.
