I had this same kind of strong armed extortion attack on my site... Thanks to GOOGLE AD SENSE ADS! Finally they completely blacklisted my site so that it could not be linked to from twitter or any other google affiliated site. Eventually after their constant threatening emails my provider deleted my entire site. Sad

I am usually a big fan of Google but this really made me stop and think about them...
