Probably a memory leak in TibWars that just caused your system to be out of RAM.

Save and quit everynow and again. Razz

(Also, my brother once wrote an RTS in Qbasic, a language, the compiler for which gave the subroutines an inherent memory leak, so to counter, he added a check for remaining memory and saved the game and crashed it on purpose when the RAM was running out, rofl)
