Go with pawkyfox's suggestion, and ask at n00bstories. Jarhead is an ex-Marine, and srgmjrten just got out of basic training. srgmjrten isn't around too much because of his military involvement, but he has made a few posts in the forums about his new career (recruitment, training), especially this long thread:

Alternatively, if you poke around Exodus' IRC, you might be able to find egoflux0, who I believe also has some military experience.
