Oh and for those people who did want to see a crash, I don't think you could see one more spectacular than this one;
As you can see, the landing is a bit heavy. Heavy enough to destroy the engine, airframe and all electronics. The impact was so strong that even little things like small components in the receiver and servos had been completely ripped off the circuit board. The carburettor in the engine had snapped clean off. I suspect the crash was caused by a gust of wind which as you can see in the video, caused the wing to come away from the fuselage. I imagine it didn't sit quite right and jammed the servo. Nothing, at all was salvageable. I could probably fix the engine, but it's over 5 years old and I will let it rest in piece.
Anyone wondering if I'm blaming a gust of wind, no. It was my fault for overestimating the rubber bands, which are very strong. Next time I will use a lot tougher ones.
