I checked iBuyPower's website, and you can customize a 'Gamer Paladin F725 with a Core i7, Radeon 4890, 1TB Hard Drive, 64GB SSD, a good case (CM HAF 922) and Corsair power supply for $1468. But remember that likely won't include tax or shipping.

The configurators look scary though, because of the shit-ton of options.

The Gateway and Cyberpower ones both look pretty decent, especially for the price. Just maybe double check with Cyberpower that their model comes with a Radeon 4890 and not a 4870. Neither have an SSD though, which isn't too big of a deal.
