Well from very reason experience, my brothers labtop made a similar noise at boot up. It did this for 3 months and well.....4 days ago..... his motherboard is no more. Sad

A couple of days before that my friend's computer did that in the middle of the night (woke him up) and it soon stopped. Later on, he heard it again but then everything went silent...

Who knows whats going on in yours.....just make sure you have backups
