*waits to get flamed* I use the corporate edition of symantc anti virus
and it works wonders...hardly any process or services and no fancy GUI
it finds all types of virus even 10 deep in a zip....it also scans memory and much more....if it finds one it has a few things to do with it and also can remove them on system boot if needed..also gives u TONS and tons of info on that virus and how to remove it step by step and the changes it makes and type of files and number of infections and registry changes and what services and start up it creates
and if its hard to remove some virus have a special .com removal tools
along with that it never let me down once but i also have
ad ware
spy bot
hijack
cwshredder
stinger
walware destroyer
spyware terminator
spy bot (which not a scanner but edits host file and such so most spyware known sites are blocked and etc and very usefull)
and etc
but best way..format pc
