Also, I just realized something. How do you close your CD drive when you could open/close it when you wanted? Do you actually push the drive close or use the little button to close the drive?
When I took my computer into my boss to see if I could get the harddrive reformatted, it turned out my primary CD drive had failed and I couldn't reformat. One cause of it to fail and not open so I could get the disk out was because I was pushing on the drive to close it which wore out the gears/motors inside that open the drive.

Yea, I didn't realize it was bad for the cd drive until my boss said something to me. lol :/
