Absolutely amazing discovery; I love snakes and this is basically the dinosaur of all snakes. Truly in the past, practically everything was huge it seems.

The discovery has also shed more light on temperature conditions millions of years ago and answers several questions regarding the evolution of snakes.

This giant snake has been named Titanoboa cerrejonensis and was discovered in Columbia within a coal mine.
