Just make sure that the registry key HKLM/Software/Westwood/Renegade/InstallPath points to game.exe (including the name of the exe in the path) and LevelEdit will be able to read the location correctly and locate the scripts files.

If that doesn't help remember to run everything and anything Renegade related in Admin mode to ensure they are all reading from the same place, and not from some VirtualStore location or another.

(Path correct as far as I can remember, but as I am at work at the moment I cannot double check)
