It's not hard to find wireless routers with integrated 4 port switch, most of the ones I have seen have that as a standard feature. Even in a wireless configuration you should be able to get 10mb down, 1mb up speeds. The transfer speed is limited more by the speed of your actual internet connection than the wireless router when using wireless G or above, so long as you don't have signal absorbing materials in the path of the signal, such as in steel framed buildings.

When buying a router remember that you generally get what you pay for, a £30 Wireless N router will usually suck compared to a £60 one with the same feature set.

Currently I am using this wireless router from Tenda, after a few niggles setting it up (updating the firmware and then restoring settings to factory default seemed to fix all the issues and then setting it all up was a breeze) it has been rock solid ever since and offers excellent signal strength and speeds.
