There isn't that much of a difference in the new PSP besides a built-in microphone and a much better screen, but I'm still buying one Dollar per dollar, there is more value in a PSP than a "ds" could ever see.
Oh boy, quote breakups, I love those. I mean it. I really love reading what I wrote again and have you break it up into tiny sections that you misinterpret and twist to make the "wii" look like it's less than a ripoff.
Let me break it down for you: If you bought a new "wii" you can't browse the internet via Opera for free. It's five dollars. If you have an old "wii" then that doesn't apply to you, but it does for the other suckers that bought a new one.
Sure, you can use your three siddy as a media extender. The only issue is for how long? The brick rate on three siddies is about ~30%. Enjoy your console!
And no, the "ds" can't do everything you mentioned. As it stands, right now, all the "ds" can do:
Play GBA games and "ds" games
Play against people via a horrible "friend code" system... I bet you love being treated like you're five years old.
And yes, you're right. You can download games and demos on a "wii" but the only problem is that your "wii" has a 512MB drive. For $249 you sure got ripped the fuck off. How many games can you store on that before you run out of space? Last time I checked, a real AAA title takes well over 1GB of storage... I think HL2 weighs in at several GB.
Yup, $399 is a terrible price for a console.. You're right, it's only $149 more than that thing you're playing now. The $149 certainly isn't worth the BD drive, wireless internet, free internet browsing, Bluetooth, free online that doesn't blow ass, HDMI, etc... You know, things that consoles have in 2006-2008. I forgot, you like being ripped off. Hey, how's that working out for ya?
