My boss that finally retired in December had to work an extra 5 years because of the money she lost as a result of September 11.

Cry me a fucking river. Do you know how much retirement money I have? ZERO. NONE. ZILCH. No 401k. No savings. And I've been paying an interest-only mortgage on my house for years, which means I havn't paid it down a bit. Yeah I'm basically fucked.

I wasn't crying ... I was simply telling a story. Actually it was kinda funny because karma kinda got her on that one. Why would you not be putting money into a 401k? It is pretax so you lose nothing. And besides if that fiance of yours keeps expanding at her current pace you wont have much to worry about pretty soon.
I haven't followed the whole shortselling thing to close but I thought they only stoped it at the corperate level. As an independant person you could still get away with it?
